Miraculous Ladybug Toys Reveal Ladybug’s New Powers

You heard that right! Just like how toys and merchandise revealed the Miraculous Swap, we now have 2 new potential powers for ladybug! (and maybe Chat Noir?) This article will be broken into 2 parts. 1 part for each new design. (Chat Noir is at the end) Thanks to @RedSuitedLady for posting these images.

Here is where things get confusing. The main doll we are focusing on is the Ladybug with the black stripes. In this photo we can clearly see that she looks like normal except for the suit change.

However in this image, we see a very similar design (as far as the black in the suit goes) except for this one has wings and long hair. So for now, let’s leave this at that and show you the next suit.

Now here is where it gets confusing… again. The two images above have a doll that looks exactly like normal ladybug, except for long hair and wings.

In the image above, we see a box with a normal looking ladybug with wings… except no long hair! WHAT IS GOING ON? It is like they mix and matched all the designs into different looking ones. Anyway, that is not really a problem. Why you might ask? Because regardless of which design they choose (we might see all of them) this still confirms that we will be seeing 2 new things.

  2. A new suit of some kind
We kind of expected that with new powers, we would be seeing a new suit. So that is not really a big surprise. (Although I do really like the black stripes one.) The wings on the other hand, are a much bigger confirmation. LADYBUG CAN FLY! I think my favorite design out of all of them is the one with the wings and the black stripes and the long hair. I hope they go with that one.

Now this brings up the question: Are these wings apart of new powers (like the aqua powers) or are they a new support item (like a lucky charm)? Well, now is a great time to talk about Chat Noir!

Here we can see that Chat Noir has a couple new items with him. He has a Skateboard and a Grappling hook! We can also see that Queen B has what looks like the same flying machine that ladybug had in the previous image. I think this means that we will be seeing not only new powers (like the space power-up) but also new support items!

Now I should mention that just because these are in a toy, it does not mean we will be 100% seeing this in the show. These could just be a toy for kids to enjoy and nothing else. But I think basing off of the previous toys confirming things like the Miraculous Swap and Multimouse, that there is a pretty safe bet of us seeing this in the future.

An interview with Wilfried Pain (Winny) confirms that we will be seeing more “Future Heroes” in the coming seasons

@TheRaikume on Twitter announced that they had an interview with Wilfried Pain (widely known as Winny) yesterday night. You can read the entire interview here but I will be recapping the most important parts on this page.

  1. Q: “We’re expecting more villains from the future, should we also expect to see any more characters besides Alix coming back from the future?”

    A: “Oh yes, there will be a new character, that’s all I can say. It’s already huge to confirm that.”


     

  2. Q: “With Marinette being the new guardian, what would you say we should expect on how she makes her decisions, and will she be relying on Chat Noir more in the future?”

    A: “Saying anything about CN and LB’s relationship will be a spoiler. So I won’t say anything about that. But yes, the both of them will change. And of course, being the new guardian will have consequences.”


     

  3. Q: “Will we be getting more Felix in future episodes?”

    A: “Simple: Yes. And I also want to add: Of course we will.”


     

  4. Q: “How do you feel about the disbanding with SAMGs partnership with ZAG and Method?”

    A: “This is a misunderstanding. SAMG didn’t really leave, they still work with Zag. For example on Ghostforce. And with Miraculous would be on the TV specials. It’s more about business, production scheduling, and capacity. Still, it’s hard for the show yes. But we are working hard to keep the quality, and better rising for the show.”

    Q: “Oh I’m glad to hear, but still sad about them not participating with the show. And TV specials? Are there going to be other ones besides the Christmas special?”

    A: “It’s not the Christmas special. It’s the special New York special, and the Shanghai special.”

    Q: “Oh! I remember those, I thought those were postponed, we all never got any updates. How ARE those going?”

    A: “It’s in production here in Paris.”

    Q: “Will they be hour specials or just 30 minute specials?”

    A: “Something like 50 minutes.”


  5. Q: “Will we be getting even more relations within the Agreste family? Isn’t Thomas creating an origins with Gabriel and Emilie on Bayday?”

    A: “The Agrestes will stay at the center of the show, yes. Indeed Thomas is currently working on comics about Gabriel, but that’s another story.”


     

  6. Q: “Do you have a small message to the fandom you would like to share while we wait for the next season?”

    A: “Brace yourselves, and hold on to something. Because you’ll be absolutely blown away. And of course, Thank you all for your support. Our fandom is really powerful, and respectful. I find it Miraculous.”

Here are my summarized points of what we learned:

  1. We will be seeing more future heroes like Bunnyx.
  2. Ladybug and Chat Noir’s Relationship will change in some way.
  3. We will be seeing Felix more in the future.
  4. Zag is still working with SAMG, just not on Miraculous. They are also confirmed to be working on the “Shanghai Special”. This is the same as “The Chinese Legend” special we have heard about.
  5. We will be seeing more about the Agreste Family. They are also still working on the Gabriel’s Past comic.
  6. Season 4 will be really good (probably).

New Miraculous Secrets Confirms New Space Powers!

It has been a big week for the Miraculous Secrets series on the official Miraculous Ladybug YouTube Channel. Today a new episode was released confirming the existance of Space Powers! Go give it a watch here:

Quite some time ago, the Miraculous Team announced their original powers that each Miraculous Holder would have. This has since been scrapped, but it is cool that the original space power still remains! Have a look at the original power idea:

With this new confirmation, we can expect to see these Space Powers in the upcoming season of Miraculous Ladybug. Hopefully we also see the other powers we don’t know about yet! If we hear about more new powers before season 4, you will be updated here so stay tuned!
