According to Le Figaro, The full name of the Shanghai Special is “Miraculous World: Shangai, the legend of Lady Dragon“. This in itself isn’t that big of news, but it is nice to get some confirmation of at least the title.
Le Figaro also announces that Marinette will reconnect with her Chinese origins. Maybe we will see some of Marinette’s relatives? We can hope!
Finally, It is stated that if both the New York special and the Shanghai Special do well, then it will open up the door for many other adventures of this kind! Meaning that if the specials do well with the viewership, they will likely make more! I think this is also direct confirmation that Season 5 will not be the last season (assuming seasons 4 and 5 don’t tank).
