We can see a lot of cool photos taken by Thomas Astruc during his trip. There are a couple points I would like to mention:

1. They were in China
2. They were looking for inspiration for Uncle Wang’s Specialty
3. They were keeping an eye out for random things to make backgrounds more realistic
4. They were exploring Chinese Culture for an akumatized villain or a Chinese Superhero
5. They were looking in museums for possible objects to akumatize
6. They are working hard to bring something miraculous to Shanghai

If this doesn’t confirm some sort of Chinese special/episode, I don’t know what does. As you may be aware, they have mentioned wanting to make a Chinese special called “The Chinese Legend“. This is likely the first confirmation that it is happening. We heard it might be getting canceled but haven’t heard anything since then. I think it is safe to assume they are beginning work on that again!

Since they would likely be introducing a new hero (since Thomas said “or a chinese super-hero”), we can guess that this might have something to do with the “Lost Kwamis” that was talked about recently.

We do have to keep in mind that this might not be for “The Chinese Legend“, however I think that is most likely the case.
