We have some new info regarding where we can get Miraculous Ladybug content in the next couple of years. A new article from Variety announced that Disney Plus will be getting global rights to Seasons 4 and 5 of miraculous (with the exception of Brazil, China, and Canada).
Disney Plus has gained the premiere rights to the 2 specials. (with the exception of Brazil and China). This means that the New York Special will be premiering (probably globally) on Disney Plus in fall of 2020 and the Shanghai special will premiere (again, probably globally) on Disney Plus in spring of 2021.
This does mean that when Netflix’s rights to Miraculous Ladybug expire, it will no longer be on Netflix and solely on Disney Plus. (more info here.)
Some new information has come out regarding the future of Miraculous. Disney Plus is expected to have global rights to S4/S5 outside of Brazil, China, and Canada.
